The IGBT Modular pipe welding machine (all-in-one machine) is designed for straight seam induction (contact) welding of steel tubes. It mainly uses IRFP460 (MOSFET) and DSEI60-06A (fast recovery diode), rectifier diodes, and modular Power component consisting of high-power IGBT and other power devices.

The IGBT module used in the automatic pipe welding machine (all-in-one machine) combines the advantages of the high input impedance of the MOSFET and the low conducting voltage drop of the GTR, so that it can directly convert the rectified direct current of the ordinary three-phase 380V AC power into controllable alternating current. It overcomes the shortcomings of low voltage regulation efficiency and low power factor in traditional solid-state high-frequency welder isolation transformer and thyristor .


The major function of trigger and control circuit of the main control panel is to generate PWM pulse width modulation waveform. The circuits are respectively comprised by the synchronization circuit, the trigger circuit, power drive, current voltage double closed-loop feedback control circuit, as well as startup and various protective functional circuits.


Compare to the traditional solid state high frequency welding machine, the automatic pipe welding machine(all-in-one machine) has the advantages as following:

The Video attached is the testing process of our 150kw IGBT Moudular pipe welding machine. We do testing at least 72hours on testing platform, make the welders frequency, efficiency at the best level.
