It is the third generation welder we developed independently. We call it High Efficiency Switch Welder.
The welder use the IGBT instead of the SCR, improved the welding efficiency greatly.
Compare to the traditional Solid State High Frequency welder, this induction heating welder has such advantages as following:

For example 100kw solid state welder, the traditional welder installation cost is around USD800(purchasing cable, nozzles, cable bridge and brackets), moreover, welder room or elevated platform is necessary, all the cost will be about USD800-1600.
Welding Quality
Benefitted from PWM precise control voltage and three level of filtering, the voltage output is stable, ripple coefficient is 50% lower than solid state welder. The welding quality is obviously better than traditional solid state welder.
How to Select Induction Coil
In order to obtain the maximum welding efficiency, it is very important to select the induction coil correctly.
The process parameters of high frequency welded pipe production include welding speed (unit speed), welding temperature (high frequency power), welding current (high frequency), extrusion force (die design and material), opening V angle, inductor (coil material, winding direction, position) and size and position of impedance (magnetic rod)

The distance a between coil and extrusion roll depends on the design of rolling mill and extrusion roll diameter. The smaller A is, the better. It is better not to exceed the pipe diameter, as shown in the figure above.
The inner diameter and length of the coil should be equal and about 20% larger than the diameter of the pipe.

Induction coil is an important part of high frequency welded pipe production. The gap between induction coil and billet and the width of opening have great influence on welding quality.
The gap between the induction coil and the tube blank is too large, which leads to the sharp decline of the inductance efficiency;
If the gap between the induction coil and the tube blank is too small, it is easy to generate discharge between the coil and the tube blank, and it is also easy to be damaged by the moving tube blank.
If the width of the induction coil is too large, the welding temperature of the butt edge of the tube blank will be reduced. If the welding speed is fast, it is easy to produce false welding and cracking after straightening
