In the first quarter, China's imports and exports of goods exceeded 11 trillion yuan, marking the first time in history for the same period, with quarterly growth hitting the highest level in nearly five years. By the first quarter of this year, China's total import and export value has remained above 10 trillion yuan for 12 consecutive quarters, and its growth rate has returned to double digits for the first time since the fourth quarter of 2022. In the same period, China's eastern, central-western and northeastern regions fully leveraged their respective geographic features and industrial strengths. Their imports and exports rose by 14.3 %, 20.2% and 4 % in the first quarter, respectively.
