The IGBT module used in the high-efficiency IGBT welder combines the advantages of the high input impedance of the MOSFET and the low conducting voltage drop of the GTR, so that it can directly convert the rectified direct current of the ordinary three-phase 380V AC power into controllable alternating current. It overcomes the shortcomings of low voltage regulation efficiency and low power factor in traditional solid-state high-frequency welder isolation transformer and thyristor.

The high efficiency IGBT welder can save power 15-25% compare to the solid state h.f welder.

Industry knowledge               

The magnet is a kind of solid material which can make the magnetic line of force pass through the material in the process of completing a closed loop of N-S pole. Similar to the current like to conduct electricity through the conductor, and magnetic lines of force prefer to conduct magnetic lines of force through the magnet. After understanding this concept, we need to understand that the heat source of induction heating is eddy current, which is generated by the magnetic line of force passing through the conductor material. In other words, eddy current will be generated when the conductor cuts the magnetic line of force, and then heat will be generated.
